New and current ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ students are welcome to apply for DASS Academic Accommodations at any time.
Please note that processing times may vary. Applications submitted during the last two weeks of the semester will be applied
the following semester to allow enough time for review and proper setup.
Accommodations are not given automatically by the University. Students must choose
to share their disability and are responsible for applying for DASS services.
Before starting your application, make sure to gather supporting documentation that
verifies your disability.
Applications without documentation will be placed on hold, and medical forms completed
by students will not be reviewed.
Step 2: Submit the
If you did not submit your supporting documentation with your application, email it
to accommodations@csuci.eduas soon as possible.
Step 3: Meet with a DASS Counselor to review your application.
DASS will contact you to schedule a new student registration meeting once your application
is complete.
Note: Academic Accommodations and Housing Accommodations have two different application
processes. For , students are encouraged to apply by the deadline.
Step 4: Activate your Academic Accommodations
Once you've completed Step 3, you're officially registered with DASS and do not need
to reapply during your time at ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿.
Each semester, you will activate your academic accommodations in the DASS Portal.
