
Feb. 8, 2023 鈥斅燗n exhibition on activist Dolores Huerta and several related events are scheduled from February through May on campus.
The 鈥淒olores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields/Revoluci贸n en los Campos鈥 exhibition will be in Broome Library Exhibition Hall from March 8 through May 7. The exhibition shares the compelling story of Huerta and the farmworkers movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Featuring text in English and Spanish, it explores Huerta鈥檚 public life as a co-founder of the United Farm Workers Union. She tirelessly led the fight for racial and labor justice along Cesar Chavez and continues today at 92 years. The exhibition is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in collaboration with the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.
